A top-to-bottom renovation
S-Bar Construction is thrilled to have partnered with Roots wine bar, a 2022 and 2023 Houston Chronicle Top 100 restaurant, to build their new home in Houston's EaDo district. This project transformed a former furniture upholstery warehouse into a vibrant and modern restaurant and wine bar.
The scope of work involved a complete top-to-bottom renovation, encompassing everything from new HVAC systems and a custom-built commercial kitchen to stylish wrought-iron accents and a unique walk-in refrigerator. S-Bar provided comprehensive support, collaborating on architectural and engineering plans, navigating the permitting process, and overseeing project management from start to finish.
Beyond construction, a custom mural and reclaimed wood façade were incorporated to create a distinctive and inviting atmosphere. This $500,000 project exemplifies S-Bar's ability to transform a vision into a thriving reality, ensuring Roots can continue to offer its award-winning culinary experience in a stunning new space.
